GoodGovPH, Inc. is a youth-led nonprofit organization that advocates for good governance in the Philippines.
GoodGovPH was founded by a group of undergraduate students from the University of the Philippines Diliman. After organizing the Philippine Good Governance Summit in 2018, they realized the capacity of the Filipino youth to champion good governance in their respective communities.
Mabuting Pamamahala Para sa Bayan
Good Governance for the Nation
GoodGovPH believes that upholding good governance is imperative in sustaining a just and humane Philippine society.
GoodGovPH is led by a volunteer group of young civil servants, professionals, civic leaders, and students involved in the fields of governance and public policy.
"In 2020, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Open Government Partnership (OGP) launched an innovation challenge to explore how to leverage digital technology to strengthen the monitoring of COVID-19-related spending and improve feedback and grievance redressal mechanisms. The winning team, GoodGovPH, will receive 10,000 USD or more to pilot their Bantay Bayan Chatbot idea in the Philippines and other interested ADB’s developing member countries."
"The United States (US) Embassy in the Philippines recognized the achievements of Filipino youth organizations that made a positive impact on their communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and after the recent natural disasters that have affected the country this year by awarding P400,000 in grants through the YOUnified Awards Night on Dec. 19."
"GoodGov PH, on the other hand, is the advocacy network behind Bantay Chatbot. This AI software simulates conversation and delivers real-time assistance to users on questions/concerns on the government's social welfare programs (SAP, social pension)."
All donations will fund our priority programs for 2020-2021.
